SHIPPING TIMES & COSTS

 

We've made your options simple with affordable Flat Rate Shipping!

Standard Shipping - $7 Flat Rate Australia:

  • FREE! standard shipping on orders over $50.
  • Same business day dispatched for orders placed by 2pm AEST.
  • Signature on Delivery is standard. Customers can choose delivery with Authority to Leave without a signature during checkout. See further T&C below.
  • We choose Fastway Couriers or Australia Post for Standard Shipping.
  • Standard Shipping delivery times can range from 1-10 business days.

Express Shipping - $13.50 Flat Rate Australia***

  • FREE! Express Shipping on orders over $250**
  • Same business day dispatch for orders placed by 2pm AEST.
  • Signature on delivery is standard. Customers can choose delivery with Authority to Leave without a signature during checkout. See further T&C below.
  • We use Australia Post for Express Shipping.
  • Express Shipping times range from 1-3 Business Days.

Note: Some outer regions and rural areas may expereince longer delivery times.

** Some bulky items are only available with Standard Shipping and is usually mentioned in the Delivery Tab section for those products.

*** Dangerous Goods items such as Hair Spray, Aerosoles, Flammables, Nail Polish and some hair colours cannot be delivered by Express Shipping.

 

Customer Collection - FREE!

If you live local or visiting Port Macquarie NSW, a great option is to buy an item online and collect from our Port Central Store. Simply select this option during check out process.

  • It's FREE! to collect your item.
  • Orders placed on business days by 2pm AEST, can be collected Next Business Day after 10am.
  • Ensure you bring I.D. with you and a copy of the order.
  • Collect your items from: The Hair Hub, Shop 39, Port Central Shopping Centre, 40-42 Horton Street, Port Macquarie NSW 2444.
  • You can call 02 6583 7791, to check if your order is ready.

Note: Customer collection is only available during Monday to Friday and is not available on weekends or public holidays.

 

 

General Shipping Term & Conditions

  • Same Day Dispatch Garantee, when orders placed by 2pm Monday to Friday (except Public Holidays).
  • Orders placed after 2pm Friday, will be dispatched following Monday.
  • All prices quoted for shipping are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST. We reserve the right to vary the shipping prices displayed on our Website from time to time.
  • Gift Certificates are delivered by Registered Post for only $4.95,  FREE DELIVERY if your Gift Certificate purchase is $50 and over. Allow 1-3 days for delivery. Registered post by Australia Post, allows for safe delivery of your Gift Certificate into the right hands.
  • The Hair Hub online store has no control over and makes no warranty in relation to the performance of the Australia Post or Fastway Courier services or any other company which we may use to deliver your consignment.
  • If you would like your parcel delivered to a different address, to your billing address, please specifiy an alternate delivery address.

 

Signature on Delivery

Signature on delivery is standard for all orders (except with Australia Post Parcel Lockers). This is your safest option as someone will be there to recieve and sign for your delivery.

Please Note: if no one is available to sign for your delivery:

  1.  Fastway Couriers will leave a calling card for you to arrange redelivery or alternatively you may be required to collect your items from a Fastway Parcel Collect agency nearest your delivery address, which allows you to collect your items when convenient for you.
  2. Australia Post will take your parcel to the nearest post office for collection.

 

Authority to Leave without a Signature

This is a safe drop option, which allows your parcel to be delivered when no one will be available to receive and sign for your parcel.

Important Note: If this option is selected when completing your order, or customers give intructions directly to courier companies to have parcel delivered with "Authority To Leave"  The Hair Hub will not accept liability for any stolen, loss or damage to your items after delivery has taken place, if customers choose to have parcels delivered as Authority to Leave without a signature.

 

Australia Post Information

Offer door to door Shipping, with a "signature on delivery" for safe delivery of your parcel (except parcel lockers). If you are not home at the time of delivery, your parcel will be left at the nearest post office for collection. A card will be left in your mail box to alert you of this. Alternatively if you know you are going to be at work, we suggest having your order sent to your work address.

Australia Post will provide automatic tracking notifications.

 

Fastway Courier Service Information

Fastway do offer door to door shipping to most locations with a signature on delivery. If no one is available to sign for your parcel, fastway will leave a calling card or customers parcel will be redirected to nearest fastway depot or to the nearest Parcel Connect Agent, where customers can collect there items when convenient. Please Note: customers must claim/collect their parcel within 5 business days from delivery to Parcel Connect Agent.

You can have your parcel re-delivered to a secure place without a signature, however you will need to completed the "Authority to Leave Form" on the back of the calling card or a form located on Fastway's Website.  

In some locations you can have your parcel delivered to a Parcel Connect Agent, where it can be collected at a time that suits you. for more information visit: www.parcelconnect.com.au website.

Fastway Couriers will only deliver on Business Days Monday to Friday and are NOT available on public holidays or weekends.

Re-delivery by Fastway; Fastway Courier's will only offer one (1) free re-delivery attemp. Customer will need to pay for any further re-delivery attemps to same delivery address. Visit: www.fastway.com.au for further details.

Fastway Couriers's CANNOT deilver to an Australian Post - Post Office Box or Parcel Lockers. We apologies for any inconvenience and will contact you should this occur and ask for alternate delivery address.

The Hair Hub have the right to use other Courier Services within Australia, details will be provided via email once your consignment is confirmed.

 

Dangerous Goods

Health & Safety is important to us; Items Classified as Dangerous Goods, like but not limited to: Hairspray’s (Aerosols), Flammables, some Hair colours, bleaches, peroxide and Nail Polish cannot be delivered via Express Post, but will be delivered via standard shipping on road or Rail only.

Please Note: Where possible, we have indicated items Classified as Dangerous Goods in the "Delivery Information tab" for each item.

In the event that your item cannot be delivered to your location due to Restrictions on Dangerous Goods, we will contact you. We will credit you the value of your Dangerous Good items to your account. 

If you would like us to check delivery of Dangerous Goods to your Location, please contact us here. Please State "Dangerous Goods" as the subject and provide details of the items you want to receive.

We apologies for any inconvenience caused if unable to deliver your item's which are classified as Dangerous Goods to your area.

 

NON DELIVERED ITEMS

If your item has not been delivered in the estimated time frames ABOVE, please don’t hesitate to contact Australia Post or Fastway Couriers. Alternatively, we can enquire on your behalf by contacting us your shipping and contact details.

 

UNCLAIMED or RETURNED PARCELS

If your parcel is returned to The Hair hub by our courier or Australia Post, due to parcel not being claimed/collected within time frames shown below or incorrect delivery information was provided by the reciever (customer), we will contact you should this occur.

  • Collection of your parcel from a Fastway Parcel Connect Agent must be within 5 business days.
  • Collection of your parcel from Australia Post, must be within 10 business days.

Please Note: Customers will have the option for us to resend their items with an additional shipping charge to their credit card or PayPal account.

or a refund may be provided (Less any shipping Charges). Returns for orders with free shipping, will also be refunded (less shipping costs).

 

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

The Hair Hub has the right to cancel your order if for any reason we are unable to provide you with the Products subject to your order and delivery location. We will contact you should this occur.

You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek compensation for any loss, expense or damage (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience, which may result from such cancellation.

 

PRODUCTS MISSING FROM AN ORDER

Should any Product be missing from an order, please email us with the order number and the product code or product name of the Product you ordered, and we will make the appropriate investigations.

 

RETURN OF PRODUCTS

Any return of Products to us by you will be governed in accordance with our Refunds & Returns Policy.

 

CONSENT

By agreeing to these Purchase & Shipping terms, you also consent to receive further electronic communications from us in relation to The Hair Hub business, including information relating to products, competitions, promotions, special offers and any other commercial message. Of course, you may unsubscribe at any time from by emailing us.

 

GOVERNING LAW

The laws of New South Wales, Australia govern these Purchase & Shipping Terms.
